Holiday Park Ages

Mathematics. We are learning to plan and conduct investigations using the statistical enquiry cycle:
- determining appropriate variables and data collection methods;
- gathering, sorting, and displaying multivariate category, and time series data to detect patterns, variations, relationships and trends;
- comparing distributions visually;
- communicating findings, using appropriate displays.

We will have met the success criteria when we
  • Develop an understanding of how to use a tally chart and a frequency table.
  • Use a spreadsheet to record our tally / frequency data.
  • Correctly develop a graph or chart using a spreadsheet programme. (Google Sheets)
Develop a clear statement based on our graphed data and share our learning on our learning blogs.

The most popular age group is 9 - 11 because they have 10 and that's the highest. The lowest is 15 because there is only 2. The reason that there is only 2 15 year olds because holiday parks are meant for younger kids. The reason 9 - 11 is the most popular because mainly if you are younger you can’t use as much equipment and some other things like playgrounds are short so it's harder for older kids.
